What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
- Own user journeys: Map discovery → comparison → conversion flows; reduce friction and bounce.
- Design UI at speed and quality: Create wireframes, hi-fi screens, interactive prototypes, and redlines for web and responsive mobile.
- Run research: Conduct usability tests, first-click tests, and card sorts; synthesize findings into clear design decisions.
- Design system stewardship: Build and maintain tokens, components, accessibility patterns (WCAG 2.1 AA) in Figma.
- Data-informed iteration: Use GA4, heatmaps, session replays, and A/B tests to validate hypotheses and prioritize improvements.
- Collaborate & ship: Work closely with engineers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation; document specs and acceptance criteria.
- Localize for India: Optimize for INR payments (UPI/NetBanking/Wallets), low-bandwidth scenarios, and device realities common in India.
- Champion accessibility & trust: Craft clear information hierarchy, readable typography, and transparent states (errors, KYC, bonuses).
What You’ll Bring (Requirements)
- 3–5 years’ UX/UI experience shipping consumer web or app products; portfolio showing problem framing → outcome.
- Advanced proficiency with Figma (auto-layout, variants, prototyping), plus familiarity with FigJam/Miro, Adobe CC as needed.
- Strong interaction design, information architecture, and visual UI craft (layout, spacing, typography, motion).
- Experience running lean research and usability testing; comfort turning insights into actionable design changes.
- Practical understanding of analytics/A/B testing tools (GA4, Hotjar/Clarity, Optimizely/VWO).
- Ability to write concise UX copy for micro-interactions, states, and CTAs.
- Bonus: Experience in the online gambling industry, fintech, or marketplaces; prior work at an affiliate/comparison site; knowledge of design tokens and handoff to modern front-ends (React/Tailwind).
- Excellent communication, self-management, and reliability in a remote, async environment.
How You’ll Be Measured (Success Metrics)
- Activation & conversion: Improved CTR on key CTAs, higher signup and first-deposit rates.
- Task success: Reduced time-to-find (e.g., casino/payment/bonus), fewer user errors.
- Quality & velocity: On-time delivery, low design debt, high implementation fidelity.
- Research impact: Clear, repeatable learnings that drive roadmap and design system evolution.
- Accessibility & performance: Better Core Web Vitals alignment and AA compliance across surfaces.
Our Toolkit & Ways of Working
- Design: Figma, FigJam, Adobe CC (as needed).
- Discovery & research: Maze/Useberry, Hotjar/Clarity, GA4, surveys, usability sessions.
- Delivery: Jira/Linear, Notion/Confluence, Slack, GitHub handoff with annotated specs.
- Design system: Tokens/variables, component libraries, documentation, and usage guidelines.
